No One Will Ever Know

“Excellent for character education.[,] No One Will Ever Know teaches the importance of being obedient and following rules.  Young Johnny and Janie squirrel are tempted by their older friends to go for the ‘big acorns’ at Mr. Smith’s farm.   They set out on an adventure that not only causes harm from the Big Bad Wolf, but teaches them that they should always listen to Mom and Dad.  ‘To disobey is wrong, even when you think no one will ever know.’”
The beautiful illustrations make this one a winner!

From a Second Grade Student

“The first thing that made the Story No one will ever know good was that it builds character.
“The second thing was that it tells you that you should always obey elders.
“The third thing was that it tells you that you should avoid temptations.
“The fourth thing was that you should trust your parents.
“That’s what makes a story good.”

“I try to read at least one book or two books a week to the smaller kids in grade K, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd, and we discuss it.  They love the pictures and the vibrant colors that are in the book.

“We were talking today about stranger danger, and I was reading them the book, No One Will Ever Know, about the squirrels.  They were really paying attention.  When I see that, I feel that it is sinking in.   I’m really excited about that, because these little kids are very vulnerable, and sometimes they don’t do the right thing.  As the book guides them and shows them—NO!  You have to do the right thing—all the time.  Even when nobody is around, because you will know in your heart you did the wrong thing.  And your books have good messages, and I hoping that you’ll continue with the series with other titles.”
